Informed by Carl Jung’s theories about the human psyche, specifically the importance of the ego, personal unconscious, and collective unconscious, holistic therapy is soul-centered, and incorporates symbolism, dream work, and your intuition.

You’re not broken. You’re a soul having a human experience. In holistic therapy, symptoms are viewed as an invitation from your psyche to heal and evolve.

  • Holistic therapy holds space for the embodied human experience. This means we aren’t only looking at what is troubling you on the day-to-day. We are looking at your deepest desires, ancestral wisdom, and physical experience. Each of these things give us insight into what you may need from therapy. Some tools used include symbolism, dream analysis, and EMDR therapy.

  • We will craft a treatment plan that includes you’d like to feel in the future, what we will do in-session to support you (typically a combination of talk therapy, visualizations/dream analysis, and EMDR therapy), and things you can do outside of session (like acupuncture, breathwork, and creative practices).

  • Holistic therapy goes beyond your thoughts, symptoms, and daily life, making it an in-depth approach. Together, we will journey to uncover what your unconscious wants to make unconscious, resulting in lasting change.

FAQs

  • Yes. Holistic therapy includes evidence-based modalities like EMDR therapy. It isn’t focused on symptom relief, it is focused on true, authentic, and deep self-acceptance.

  • At the heart of holistic therapy is an acceptance for all parts of you. If you are spiritual, your beliefs are embraced in the therapy room. If you have religious trauma, space is held for that as well. However, I will never dictate what your spiritual practice should be nor do I provide therapy that focuses on any religious perspective. There is no size fits all, which is the beauty of this treatment approach.

  • I come to this work honestly, having done years of my own therapy and self-exploration. Receiving care that didn’t just focus on symptoms, but instead held space for my intuition, unconscious, and ancestral lineage was life changing. It only made sense to seek out clinical training and consultation that empowered me to provide this same treatment to those who come into my office.
